The 2009 NAWRA Nationals and Western Whippet Derby will be held on the main polo field at the Tacoma Polo Club in Roy, Washington. This is a fabulous field and we are very pleased to be able to use it!
WEATHER OR NOT...
I have been asked what sort of weather one should expect in Western Washington in September...and here is the answer...ANYTHING! Now, we HOPE that we will have typically wonderful late summer weather; cool(70s), dry and pleasant. However, we could also have anything from unseasonable warmth to torrential downpours. Maybe even on the same day!
As those who live in the Pacific Northwest well know, layers are the way to go, so you can adjust your attire to the mood of the heavens at that moment. Think positive, but be prepared!
